Florida at last ! Thanks to all !
The World of Silly Willy and Fluffy thanks all who continued to support our blog through your drops and comments as we made our journey to Florida.
What would normally be a day and a half trip became two and half days driving through heavy fog, weather changes from drizzling rain, heavy rain and again fog.
We are very thankful that we arrived safe and sound here in sunny Florida!

On the road again "Return to Florida"!
It's time to hit the road again. Silly Willy and Fluffy have sand in their shoes and are answering the call of warm Florida weather.
After spending several weeks in Alabama, we have met some
beautiful and very hospitable people in the Huntsville area.
This area offers a lot to those looking for opportunities, a diversified culture and a love of the great outdoors.
Fluffy: Wow, Zowie! Silly what's going to happen to our blog?
Silly Willy: I am sure the wonderful friends that support our blog will drop by and read some of our posts and drop on us while we're traveling. "We are leaving
a candle to light their way" So you all be safe and happy and we'll see you down in Florida!"
Fluffy: I hope the alligators won't get us in Florida!
Silly Willy: The alligators don't eat clowns they think we
taste funny! Hahahahahahahaha!!!

WHEN YOU THOUGHT I WASN'T LOOKING (PART 2)
WHEN YOU THOUGHT I WASN'T LOOKING
" A message every adult should read because children are watching you and doing as you do, not as you say!"
When you thought I wasn't looking I saw how you handled your responsibilities, even when you didn't feel good, and I learned that I would have to be responsible when I grow up.
When you thought I wasn't looking I saw tears come from your eyes, and I learned that . . . . . sometimes things hurt, but it's all right to cry.
When you thought I wasn't looking I saw that you cared, and I wanted to be everything that I . . . . . could be.
When you thought I wasn't looking I learned most of life's lessons that I need to know to be a. . . . . good and productive person when I grow up.
When you thought I wasn't looking I looked at you and wanted to say, 'Thanks for all the things I saw when you thought I wasn't looking.
"Each of us (parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, teacher, friend) influences the life of a child."
How will you touch the life of someone today? You will. . . . . probably make them at least think about their influence on others.
"Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly."
" Leave the rest to God! "

WHEN YOU THOUGHT I WASN'T LOOKING (PART 1)
"A message every adult should read because children are watching you and doing as you do, not as you say."
When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you hang my first painting on the refrigerator, and . . . . I immediately wanted to paint another one.
When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you feed a stray cat , and I learned that it was good . . . . . . to be kind to animals.
When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you make my favorite cake for me, and I learned that . . the little things can be the special things in life.
When you thought I wasn't looking I heard you say a prayer, and I knew that there is a God I. . . . could always talk to, and I learned to trust in Him.
When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you make a meal and take it to a friend who was sick, . . and I learned that we all have to help take care of each other.
When you thought I wasn't looking, I saw you give of your time and money to help people who had nothing, and. . I learned that those who have something should give to those who don't.
When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you take care of our house and everyone in it, and . . . I learned we have to take care of what we are given.

Veterans Day "A Remembrance"
In November 1919, President Wilson proclaimed November 11 as first commemoration of "Armistice Day". "To us in America, the reflection of Armistice Day will be filled with solemn pride in the heroism of those who died in the service of their country."
President Eisenhower signed HR 778 changing Armistice Day to Veterans Day. With the approval of this legislation (Public Law 380) on June 1, 1954 November 11 became a day to honor American Veterans of all wars.

OH NO! YUK THE FLU!
I knew it had to be something! My nose was getting redder by the day. A red nose for a clown is something to be proud of having.
Noooooo! Not in this case. It started about halfway on our trip south. I had to cut my visits with family short and kept to myself so as not to infect anyone else.
We kept checking the mail for a letter from Kleenex or Puffs thanking us for
our increased sales of their products. Nothing! Not even a free coupon! That's gratitude for ya!!!!!
Four days, flat on my back and nothing but chicken soup, water, tea
and toast made me feel I was serving a prison sentence on bread and water! All the aches, head and all over just racked me and feeling weak did nothing but sleep. This was not just a cold. It was Arrrrrgh Yuk, "The Flu"!!!
Thanks to Fluffy, my personal nurse and culinary expert, I am feeling better but not 100%. Laugh Silly laugh. You will feel better!!!! I did and now I do!!!!. . . . . .

On the road again/Off the road again !!!
Hi ! Fluffy and I have traveled around 700 miles, stopping in Akron, Ohio, Jefferson, Ohio and Louisville, Kentucky. We passed
The Corvette Museum near the Kentucky border. This is a must see place to visit just off Interstate 65. We have a friend who worked alongside the development team of this famous General Motors Car.
We are scheduled to be in the Huntsville, Alabama area for a few weeks before heading to Florida. We have stopped to visit family and friends along the way. The visits are much too brief but always wonderful.
Thank you to all that continue to visit us while we are traveling. Go Bloggers !!!!

Heading South for the winter!
It's that time of year again and we will be heading south.
Our summer was filled with love, laughter, happiness and
some sorrow!
Last year we participated in three of the holiday parades in Florida.
Many of the clowns will be returning to Florida to do shows and entertain with other clowns from their "Clown Alleys"! Many Clowns will attend conventions and further training.
We truly appreciate all of our readers and hope you will continue
to visit our site and support our advertisers of entrecard bloggers.
We will be traveling for a week and making stops in south Ohio, Louisville, Kentucky, Huntsville, Alabama and to Orlanda, Florida. Whenever we can get on line, we will visit your sites.
Hugs and happy blogging to you all !!! Silly Willy and Fluffy

Let us not forget those people who lost their lives in the twin towers on September 11, 2001.
Let us praise those people who risked their lives to save the survivors.
Let us pray for all the families, from many countries, who lost loved ones from this senseless
attack on the United States of America.
Let us strive to achieve "World Peace" for our countries, our children and ourselves.
Let us protect the future of the world for mankind! Love rules!

Margie: Edna, wasn't it lovely for Silly Willy and Fluffy to invite us to their fun house for homemade sarsaparilla ? I'm so glad Cousin T could drive us.
I'm excited just being here. Do you think they'll have cotton candy and roasted peanuts? You remember your manners, Edna. Sit up straight and don't make those strange faces if you don't like something. Just be polite if that's possible.
Edna: For the love of Pete, would you stop bossing me around? My lands, I've been an adult for more years than I care to admit, and I know how to behave when we go visiting. You'd best tend to your own manners, sister.
It was very nice of Silly Willy and Fluffy to invite us over. But you know Margie, just because they're clowns doesn't mean they live at a carnival. I do love to ride the Tilt-a-Whirl...but I'd hardly expect them to have one in their backyard.
Margie: What? You think they may not live at a carnival? I wanted to see the elephants and watch those young men swing from the trapeze.
Edna, do you think they'll even be dressed like clowns? I've loved clowns since I was a girl. I'm worried now.
Edna: Margie, I know how much you love the carnival, I do too. It's been a long time since I've had a funnel cake. But I think even clowns have days off now and again. Besides, they've already promised us a nice visit, can't you just be happy with that?
Did you remember to bring those teacakes you made? They'll go nicely with the sarsaparilla.
Margie: Funnel cake? I'd love to have one of those.
Yes, I brought the teacakes. Edna, here's the thing. We should just be happy they invited us for a nice visit. Even if they aren't dressed like clowns we know they'll have lots of funny stories to tell.
Edna: Margie, you're right. I do love a visit with friends, especially funny friends. Now, wipe the lipstick off your front teeth and let's go ring the doorbell.
Ding Dong! Ding Dong! Ding Dong!
Silly: Hi Margie and Edna! Did you have a nice trip?
Fluffy: We are so excited to have you come for a visit! Would you like some ice cold
Sarsaparilla?
So the five new friends, Margie, Edna, Cousin T, Silly Willy and Fluffy spent hours getting to know each other, sharing the stories of their lives and very funny experiences! The sarsaparilla
was cold and refreshing. The teacakes, brought by Margie and Edna, were simply scrumptious!
Silly: Have we got a “Great Surprise” for you!!!

SURPRISE ! SURPRISE ! SURPRISE
Silly: Fluffy, I just found out that we are going to have some visitors!!
Fluffy: Who is it? Is Toby coming to visit?
Silly: No, guess again! OK? I’ll give you a hint! Someone from out west!
Fluffy: Is it Boo Boo the Clown?
Silly: Nope!
Fluffy: How about Pretty Buttons the Clown or LaDitzy the Clown?
Silly: Uh Uh, wrong again! One more hint and that’s all. Ready?
Who recently told us they loved homemade sasparila? Who do
we know from J-e-r-i-c-h-o?
Fluffy: Margie and Edna!! When are they coming . . . . .Soon? We have a lot to
get done before they get here ! S-A-S-P-A-R-I-L-A here they come!

OUT OF THE MOUTHS OF BABES. . . . !
Recently, Fluffy and I performed at a child's birthday party. It was a wonderful time and the children were having lots of fun! Then I "Silly Willy" decided to do some pocket magic. I brought out the magic ring and chain trick. This trick was impressive with the crowd of onlookers. A 7 year old said " let me try it, I bet I can do it!" He tried and tried and tried. . . . . . . but could not do the trick. I said it took Silly Willy 4 hours to do the trick the first time and it takes lots of practice. The 7 year old says "OK then tell me how you do it !" I said " We can only show a clown or a magician. Those are the rules! ! ! The 7 year old says "I'm going to become a magician when I grow up!" I said, "Great, then you come back then and I'll show you the trick!" The 7 year old looked me in the eyes and said, "You'll probably be dead by that time!" I was speechless!
P.S. When we were leaving the party, the 7 year old thanked us and gave us a "Big Hug!"

OUT OF THIS WORLD SERVICE!
Here today, gone tomorrow! Thats's how it all happened! One day you are on line and the next all you get are notice windows that says cannot load this window. What is a clown to do? So I called tech services which was not aware of any problems. After each call, I was told that the problem should be corrected within a couple hours. So ring a ding a ding, "Hello this is Silly Willy, I still cannot get on line. We are very sorry sir, let me check. There is a problem, it should be corrected within a few hours. Four days went by and still no service. Now I have a list of pen pals all from India. There was Adam, Ronnie, Gary and others that were very gracious in handling many irate customers. I am now known as Sir Silly Willy!
Finally, there came a notice that there was a problem with a couple of transponders on a satellite and that they were working on the problem. I bet they were drawing straws to see who gets the job to climb the ladder to the satellite. What ya think?
Our thanks to all of you who hung in there with your drops and adverts during this time. You are the greatest. Our Blogoshere is really cool !

"WHAT MAKES A CLOWN LAUGH ?"
What makes a clown laugh? What or Who can bring another performer to their knees with outrageous antics? Chris Linn
can do this and much more!
Four of us attended his show in Norwalk, Ohio last friday.
This magical comedian held the audience spellbound with unsuspecting tricks, jokes and stunts. His performance was
a fresh approach from a normal magic show presentation. It was not a night of sophisticated"David Copperfield" type magic and illusion but a down home, laid back, funny and side splitting experience.
Chris Linn will amaze your friends and freak out your family!!!

Feather Pillows and Fun!
How do you start your day? Do you drag yourself out of bed? Do you mope about thinking what battles you must win and who you have to please to make it through the day? Is this all there is to life? WOW! I mean WOW! It's time for an attitude adjustment!
Many find that it takes getting up a little earlier, throwing on your play clothes and take a brisk walk, jog or short bike ride. This helps get your bodily functions moving. Before long, you will start feeling better, looking better and more confident.
Fluffy and I have come up with a great method that works for us. We have a pillow fight every morning! You read right, a pillow fight. If you remember the movies of The Pink Panther where Peter sellers would enter his appartment and would be surprise attacked by his assistant. This is how the pillow fight goes every morning. Laughter abounds everywhere! It's great being a kid again! It's wonderful being a clown!

Today's Giggle!
There are many great blogs dealing with health issues. Some cover the facts about maintaining a good balance of proper foods. Others provide nutritional facts in food preparation. Combining all these facts of nutrition and a proper exercise program is paramount in maintaining any weight loss goals. Kudos to all that provide these facts for our use. I would like to add one more important fact and that is . . . . "Life is too short, eat dessert first !" Hahahahhahahahahahahhahahahahhahaha!!!!!

EXERCISE, EXERCISE. . . LOOKING GOOD!
Many of the blogs deal with health issues. Getting back in shape is the thing to do. Eating the proper foods for balance in our systems to increase our metabolism plus a good exercise program to shed
pounds.
So Fluffy and I started walking . . . . . . and walking. . . and
walking. . . . . .
and then I started playing pickleball!
Here's Mark and me (Silly Willy) on the court. Look at the
concentration on my face. . . . .Look at the disgusted face of Mark. .
He's thinking I'll never learn this game. The bystanders are
yelling quit clowning around and play. My motto is never give
up. So . . . . . . . . . . . . . I found a group of very talented players to
help train me.
Everbody, these are the Heartland Pickleball winners from
Florida.
They let me watch them play and let me in a few games here and there. Boy was I getting better each day and sometimes helped
win a game or two. They are great players and great trainers!
I sure was getting in good shape and so I had a picture taken.
Don't I look good?

"Memorial Day" Remember and give thanks!
Honoring those who have given their lives in the service of our country!
Pearl Harbor, a tribute to those who gave their lives. As President
Roosevelt said "December 7, 1941, a day that will live in infamy!"
We also must not forget those in the Army, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard who pledge their lives to protect us around the world.
These are the heroes of today! Young men and women who have accepted todays challenges to protect us 24/7, 365 days a year.
Don't forget them! We are thankful and pray for them daily.
No matter where you are, please take the time to thank those who are in uniform or those who proudly wear a hat that shows they are a vet.
You may share a tear with one who you have made feel appreciated.
Let us never return to a period where our vets were ill treated for their serving our country ie. Vietnam. God pray for us!

Stand up! Stand up now!
Even clowns get their feelings hurt! In this photo, someone told Fluffy that her orange hair was ugly. Silly Willy said, "No it's not, her hair is beautiful!"
People often say or do things that hurt another's feelings. Why would they say or do these things? Sometimes, people in a group will pass by a clown and someone will say stomp on his big shoes! Then suddenly there's a group of grown-ups that are trying to stomp on a clown's new $450.00 pair of shoes. What does this tell the kids that observe this behavior. That it is OK to behave in this manner. Is it OK to pick on another who is different, one who is less fortunate?
There was a story of a clown that was entertaining at a festival. He had been bringing smiles, laughter and love to all he met for many years. One of the people at the festival gave his son a hammer and told him to go and hit the clowns big shoes. This act ended a clowns career as he was a diabetic and the injury eventually caused the foot to be amputated. Wasn't this a fun thing to do?
The purpose of this post is not only how to treat clowns but how to treat others that are part of your lives. Treat others with respect especially the young, the old, those who are physically or mentally impaired. Stand up for those who are more or less fortunate than yourself. Your life will change dramatically. " Stand up, stand up now for yourself !"

"Oh No!" It's happening again!
Oh No, not again. I feel as if I am having an "Intellectual Pause!"
Have you ever got yourself into a lot of projects and feel as if somebody or something is picking at your brain???
That is where I am at this moment. If you remember the catastrophe of my dumping all my pictures from the World Clown convention. I did receive a bunch of pics from some wonderful friends. Now the work begins with editing and sizing for publishing. There are some stories of some of the old circus clowns in the planning stages. No, there is not a meltdown in progress.
It is a time thingy! Plus there will be a few travel trips to make. Since starting this blog, we have traveled through four states. If you have any questions about clowning or want some information about clown schools send them to us. In the meantime, please be patient! Thank you for dropping by! Please write!
