the past ten days. We are experiencing
shutdowns on both of our computers.

I hope that you guys have a good anti-virus program in your computer. might I suggest and added step from http://www.malwarebytes.org it is a free program that can help keep you computers junk free another program I can suggest is called CCleaner http://www.ccleaner.com.
Good luck on your service. I know in some areas it's next to impossible to get a signal. I'm sure you'll do just fine.

I agree with Mike both software he mentions are essential Malwarebytes is great for trojans etc and is easy to use and will keep your PC's clean.
