We finally made it to Texas. It was a long trip but very enjoyable. We spent some time visiting our beautiful friends along the way and making some new ones too! Texas roads welcomed us with an array of beautiful flowers. There was an abundant amount of Blue Bell flowers which is the state flower.
"The journey of a thousand miles begins with a broken fan belt and leaky tire!" This is a quote from the Sarcasm of Zen. We did travel over 1,200 miles but started with a new set of tires and a new battery along the way.
Now it's time to prepare for the Clowns of America, International Convention in Houston.
The Cheerful Clown Alley #166 is hosting this years convention. It appears they have gone all out to to provide a tremendous number of great instructors for this event. They also made available a trip to the Nasa Space Center for those who are interested in a part of our country's history in space.
